Happy New Year!

Hope everyone has had a safe and happy holiday season! I just wanted to let everyone know the registry is still open! Even if I am not around much I still try to register horses on the weekend or during the week if I am free. I am proud to announce we now have over 100 registered horses! I also have a suprise that I wanted to give all the great Andy owners I have had the pleasure of working with.. it will have to be put on hold, however, until Equus finishes switching. But I will go ahead and tell you I plan to host an Andalusian halter show which will have classes for stallions, mares, and foals! Thank you all once again for being part of the Andy community!

Busy, busy, busy!!

I wanted to take a moment and say thank you to everyone who has been so patient with me since the fall semester of school has started! I have not had time to really show or train like I want to but I have been keeping up the registry on the weekends. Now that I am more than halfway through this semester I can see the light at the end of the tunnel and can't wait to really get back to business! I also wanted to announce that we almost have 90 registered horses which means we are well on our way to 100!!! Once we reach that I am hoping to do something special for all you Andy owners who have been such a pleasure to work with! When I first joined Equus back in May and started breeding there were less than 20 registered horses and it seemed almost no interest so I'm really proud to have increased their popularity and see them thriving!

Fall has Arrived!

I'm so happy to say that it's finally starting to feel like fall! Also I am equally pleased we have reached 70 registered horses! All of which are gorgeous btw! I am thinking of hosting a show for Andalusians, but if I do it won't be until this semester is over since school is keeping me pretty tied up as it is! I also wanted to let everyone know if I don't get to your registrations/breeding requests through the week it's because of school and I will get it done on the weekend! Although the 22nd and 23rd I will be out of town for my first horse show, so wish me luck! And keep those beautiful babies coming ;)

Mini Hiatus

Just wanted to let everyone know that I'm leaving for the weekend and so any registry applications won't be processed until I get back. I will be back Sunday night, but don't expect an immediate response! Depending on the number of applications it could take me a day or a week to catch up! Hope everyone has a great weekend, I know I am!

Hello August!

As another month, or "year" is upon us I'm proud to announce we have over 40 registered Andalusians! I'm sure with all the stallions and mares myself and others have that number is going to climb soon enough! Please remember you can register foals as long as both parents are registered PRE's!

Also just a note I'm going back to school later this month, I will be full time in hopes I can go ahead and finish up my associates and start work on my bachelors. I will still be active but especially Monday-Thursday I will be in class and may not be able to register horses until the weekend. I do check my email every day though and hope even with school I will be able to stay on top of things!

Feel free to post your foal crops in the C-box. Also if you have any horses that don't sell you can advertise them on here, just send me a application! As well as the stud book, it's only got 2 horses right now, and I know we have more stallions than that!!

I am a little over run with horses myself and have thought of selling 1 or possibly 2 of my mares. If you would like to know more send me and email. I would rather they go to a PRE breeder if possible. But because I am looking into selling I am not going to be buying any foals this month! I just don't have the time I need for them right now!

FYI for July

I just wanted to let everyone know since there are a lot of Andy foals being born that as long as both parents are registered you CAN and are encouraged to register them even if you intend to sell them! If they don't have a profile then I will just leave their name unlinked and once they have one the new owner can contact me with the url so I can update it!

Also I added a cute little box off to the side about some famous Andies. I'm happy the breed is starting to gain some popularity and hope that it's numbers continue to grow in our community!!

I want to add that if you all have any questions regarding genetics you can email me and I will help you out as best as I can! I'm new to it as well, but I'm starting to get the hang of it and I know it can be tricky. You can contact me for any other questions too for that matter!

We're now Offical!!!

I was so happy to open my email this evening and see that I got the approval on our registry! I put a lot of effort into this site and I hope I can continue to live up to everyone's standards!! If you have any Andies that still need to be registered send them over! I will try to have them up on our list within a day or two! Also I'm going to start automatically adding everyones stables to the breeders list when you register a horse! But if you have a Andy stud or Andy for sale you will still need to email me to have them put up on that page! Thanks for everyone's patience! :)
